Thanks for showing these - it's really cool to see your process. A question - is the use of the gray tones there to spot future blacks, or will you actually be using tones on the pages?
I put them there so I'll hopefully remember to spot the blacks that way, though I do so much of the laying out process super fast and on the fly, I tend to change my mind later and not always stick to what I originally put down. As long as the storytelling works, that's all that matters, I guess. Thanks for looking!!!
