But is The Anchor going on a break during this time or will there be a guest artist or what?

Thanks all. As far as I know, Boom has yet to release any sort or formal statement regarding The Anchor. But as of #8 it goes on indefinite hiatus. If it were solely up to me, I'd be drawing The Anchor 'til the short hairs went gray, but sometimes things don't always turn out the way you had hoped. Phil and I will (hopefully) always be working together on something. Boom and the folks there have been amazing, and I've been told The Anchor may come back at some later, yet to be determined date, fingers crossed.
Thanks to everybody for the support and kind words. I sincerely appreciate it.

I've read nothing more than glowing praise for the Anchor, I hope they keep it going. It must be weird to be drawing such iconic characters for real. It would be great to see a post on how you prepare for that. That's so awesome! Congratulations.
